Do something to make a difference

I’m sure you’ve had that nagging feeling every now and then that you want to do something to make a difference. But then you haven’t been able to think of what to do or what cause you want to do it for. So you left it and moved on. You felt cheated though didn’t you. Frustrated even. And that nagging feeling keeps on coming back.

It’s understandable. Fundraising isn’t on the school’s program and it’s not often on the home fun calendar either.  As for what to support? There is an overwhelming selection of desperate causes. But they all seem so faceless. Not anything you can identify with. You’re not even sure if your money will help or even get to where they say it will.

This is why this project you are reading about here is so different. First we offer Fundraising 101 if you are a newbie. Then we introduce you to the children who will benefit from your efforts. You get to meet them, hear their stories and see the difference you are making. And if you ever visit Vietnam, what a fabulous idea, you can get to truly meet up with them in real life.  It’s like having an extended family. Just on the other side of the world.
